Founded in 2008, ARHP is a nonprofit healthcare network comprised of 18 rural hospital members, 3 medical teaching institutions, and 2 FQHCs throughout rural Arkansas.
To advance health and wellness of rural residents, providers, and healthcare organizations through dynamic collaboration, forward-thinking, and the strategic leveraging of resources.
Our Vision: Pioneering a new rural health reality.
As rural leaders and change agents, we believe that geography should not limit or negatively impact the health and wellness of our friends, families, and fellow community members. We are committed to ensuring that individuals living in rural settings have fair and just opportunities to live, work, play, and thrive and champion strategies and efforts that move the needle forward on rural health equity.
There is a major need for access to quality health care for patients and education & training for healthcare providers in the ARHP service area. We work to satisfy those needs by training and educating healthcare professionals; providing programs and services that meet the needs of the communities we serve; growing the healthcare workforce; and supporting, strengthening, and enhancing the rural hospital/clinic infrastructure and capacity.
