Our Members

We are comprised of 18 rural healthcare organizations, 3 medical schools, and 2 FQHC’s serving residents and communities throughout rural Arkansas.

Working Together For a Healthier Arkansas

ARHP was founded in 2008 by a small group of rural hospital administrators with a deep commitment to their rural communities. The mission was simple, yet extraordinary: Change the status quo of rural health disparities, life expectancies, and rural hospitals shuttering their doors by working together, rather than compete for scarce resources. Today, the non-profit organization has grown to over 25 members which represent rural hospitals, federally qualified health centers, and medical teaching institutions.
